Is my financial data secure?

Yes. FinCan is designed to be completely offline. Your financial data is stored securely on your local device and is never sent to our servers. Be sure to protect your device with a passcode or biometric lock.

Do you connect to my bank accounts?

No. FinCan relies on your manual entry or receipt scanning. We do not support bank connections or Plaid integration to maximize privacy and prevent unauthorized access.

How do I backup my data?

You can use the Export Data (CSV) feature in the Settings page. This will generate a file containing your transactions, allowing you to back it up or share it via email, Drive, iCloud, or any available share service.

Can I import data from another device or app?

Yes, you can import transactions via a CSV file using the Import Data (CSV) feature in the Settings menu. Simply select the CSV file from your device to load past records into FinCan.
